Bloomington, Minnesota, is located located in the southwest Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area. Our conference site, the Crowne Plaza Hotel, is conveniently located near the MSP International Airport and the Mall of America; there is also a Light Rail Transit Station just across the street. The Light Rail System runs from the Mall of America to downtown Minneapolis.
The Minneapolis and St. Paul area, a.k.a. the "Twin Cities", is an agricultural hub. The University of Minnesota and many agribusinesses are located here.
Home to the Twins, the St. Paul Saints (minor league baseball), the Vikings, the Timberwolves and the Wild, the Twin Cities offers many things for you to see and do. Museums and historical sites, theaters, restaurants, parks and shopping opportunities abound.
Visit our State Capitol, historic Fort Snelling, the Science Museum of Minnesota, the MN Children's Museum and many other interesting and educational attractions. There are two zoos— the Minnesota Zoo in Apple Valley and the Como Park Conservatory & Zoo and Como Town in St. Paul.
