Quarry Hill Nature Center • Silver Creek RD NE Accessible from East Circle DR (CR 22), Quarry Hill Nature Center offers interactive displays and exhibits of the area's wildlife and a 1,700 gallon aquarium of native fish. You can also go biking and hiking on the 5 miles of trails through the meadows, forests and flood plain. Oxbow Park • 5731 CR 105 NW, Byron ![]() Oxbow Park is a beautiful 572-acre park located on County Road 105, approximately 3.5 miles north of Byron. The park was named Oxbow because it is nestled along a bend in the Zumbro River that is shaped like an ox yoke or “oxbow”. It features picnicking, hiking, camping a Nature Center and the Zollman Zoo. The zoo is home to more than 30 Native Minnesota animal species. Park Hours: Daily, 7AM - 10PM Zoo and Nature Center Hours: 10AM - 4PM |
